Scope

3,450 SF Interior and Exterior Renovation with 675 SF Smoker Shed and 740 SF Retail

Project

This cozy barbecue spot utilizes an existing 1921 historic building on West Magnolia Avenue. While keeping much of the original building intact, the storefront entry was opened up and clad in a smoked cedar to give a rustic and textured identity.

After touring and researching Texas barbecue joints, the interior is a modern take on the rough no-nonsense traditional barbecue joints. Once inside, the customer area combines reclaimed wood, refurbished tin, exposed brick, and new glossy tile.
