South Main Street in the Near Southside Fort Worth is moving out of the past as a manufacturing district and moving into the future. An $8.6 million complete street renovation of South Main Street sparked a wave of new development from Vickery to Rosedale. The rebuilt street will provide wider sidewalks, street trees and lights, safer pedestrian crossings, and bike lane improvements.
The exterior is meant to look like two distinct separate buildings built next to one another. Along with contrasting bright colors. these features provide future tenants an individualized facade for signage.
