Jason Eggenburger has over 17 years of experience in architecture and urban design. He earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design at Texas A&M University and a Masters in Architecture from Clemson University. While at Clemson University, Jason lived and studied at the Charles E. Daniel Center for Building Research and Urban Studies in Genova, Italy and later studied classical urban planning and architecture in Western Turkey. Jason also won the Mickel Prize in Architecture, a travel grant awarded to the best overall Master’s student at Clemson University. After receiving his Masters, Jason moved to New York City to practice architecture in a true urban context. Jason’s focus in NYC was on inventive design approaches for public spaces and structures. In Spring 2012, Jason relocated to Fort Worth, Texas to design schools of the future before being drawn away by his entrepreneurial spirit, for 97w. Jason enjoys sketching, cycling, traveling and classic cars. Jason is a registered architect in New York, Texas, and Arizona and holds certification with NCARB for reciprocity. Jason also holds a Certificate in Classical Architecture from the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art in New York City.
Steven Halliday has over 15 years of experience in urban design, architecture and interiors. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree at the University of Houston in 2002. Steven also attended the Centre d’Etude d’Architecture et d’Urbanisme in Saintes, France where he studied urban planning and architecture, traveling throughout Western Europe. After graduating, Steven gained invaluable experience as an intern architect and construction superintendent at a Design / Build firm. This hands-on approach to design and construction is also integral to the process at 97w. In the past, Steven has worked with a diverse group of clients across the continental United States, designing and constructing Commercial, Retail, Restaurant, Gallery, Residential, Educational and Office projects. In early 2011, Steven and his wife, Tracy, returned home to Fort Worth, Texas. Steven has a passion for design that is rooted in place, drawing inspiration from unassuming small wonders. Steven is a LEED accredited professional and is currently working towards licensure in the State of Texas.
